Hearing Care Counselling Program (Seniors):  
Adults over 55 with hearing loss * home consultation on coping with hearing loss, communication strategies * use, care and maintenance of hearing aids * assistance with selecting specialized communication equipment (telephones, alerting devices, TV accessories, etc) * education and training is also provided to caregivers and service providers 
 
Hearing Help Classes: 
Supportive group environment for deafened and hard of hearing adults and their significant others * information on coping with hearing loss and improving communication skills in a variety of listening environments * information on hearing loss, hearing aids, technical devices * speech reading and other communication and coping strategies * classes at various times throughout the year * a small fee is charged 
 
Employment Services:  
Assistance to deaf, deafened or hard of hearing individuals who are looking for work or having difficulty maintaining employment * free information and resources on resume and cover letters, interview preparation, job development and maintenance * training options, technical devices (loaner program), wage subsidy and work site evaluations 
 
Ontario Interpreting Services: 
American Sign Language (ASL) to English interpreting services in a variety of settings * medical, employment, social services, personal business * government ministries and agencies, education related to business, employment and legal * organizations are charged a fee for service, regardless of who requests the interpreter * organizations responsible for the cost of making services accessible in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and The Supreme Court Of Canada Eldridge decision

General Support Services: 
Services to support deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people 16 years and older * services include special assistance to overcome language and culture barriers * short-term intervention dealing with urgent situations, case management for coordination of long term community support * supportive counselling for everyday problems, referral services to assist in accessing community services * consumer advocacy and technical devices 
 
CONNECT Counselling: 
Wellness counselling free of charge to people who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing, or their family members * wellness counselling includes (but is not limited to) support in times of stress, marital, family or relationship problems * coping difficulties, addictions, mental health issues * other situations where support and empathy can lead a way to wellness * counsellors are aware of the specific issues and cultures of deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people and can be a great support * counselling is available to all ages, from children to adults 
 
The CONNECT counselling program also offers community outreach, presentations and advocacy * free of charge, the community liaison may be contacted for advocacy in terms of accessing mainstream services, where communication is a barrier * presentation topics include effects of a hearing loss, better communication skills * creating a better listening environment, how to run "accessible meetings" and others
