DescriptionScreens and supports adult volunteers to serve as adult role models for children 6-16 through fun and friendship 
 
Basic Program: 
Traditional one to one matching * positive role model * weekly contact for a minimum one year commitment  
 
In School Mentoring Program: 
Matches an elementary school child to an adult volunteer during the school year * provides friendship for one hour a week, during school hours, on school property * volunteers may play outside, use the school gym, play board games * NB not an academic tutoring program
