DutiesThe Conservation Youth Corps program offers Durham Region high school students the opportunity to volunteer throughout the summer and assist with conservation projects in Durham Region * volunteers work in crews with other high school students on outdoor tasks * training and tools will be provided  
Activities may include maintaining and improving trails, fencing, build bird boxes, create habitat structures for the sites * use hand tools and equipment including shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows * arrive on time at a designated location each day * participate in an orientation and training session * comply with all health and safety instructions provided and maintain a safety focus during all tasks
