We are a not for profit registered charity organization. Directors participate in monthly meetings including administrative duties, fundraising initiatives, public events and approval of successful crime stoppers tips.
As an Administrative Assistant you will support regular admin tasks related to supporting clients. Directing calls, assisting with managing business files, organizing daily task schedules of employees, as well, there will be need to support the social media initiatives as required. Responsibilities:

Document Editing and Communication:
- Edit and proofread documents related to the operations and initiatives of the Carion Fenn Foundation.
- Facilitate communication both internally and externally, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging.

Online Advertising Management:
- Oversee the implementation of online advertising strategies, including SEO, SEM, and ad placement through Google Ads.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of online ads to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.

Social Media Management:
- Manage social media accounts across various platforms for the Carion Fenn Foundation.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess engagement and inform content strategies.
MG Canada requires a volunteer help our project lead with editing and writing short health related arcticles for our website. MG Canada is a registered charity that promotes awareness for myasthenis gravis patients and caregivers in Canada.. The volunteer would work virtually with our projecte lead, approx 2-3 hours a week on articles that they are comfortable with editing and re-writing, as we have archived articles that wefreshing.
The Oshawa Skating Club is proud to be offering Skate Canada's CanSkate program, a learn to skate program that is proven to help learners develop strong basic skills faster while having fun!
Program Assistants help support beginner skaters during our learn to skate programs. Members of the community who know how to skate and who enjoy working with children are welcome to volunteer.
- Adults that are interested in helping out will need to provide a vulnerable sector background check. Contact us for an endorsment letter to get this done for free.
- High school students can earn community hours.
Provide positive one-on-one attention, guidance, and support to a child while at school; play sports, games, crafts, promote importance of staying in school and healthy relationships with family and peers
• Assist with establishing, monitoring, coordinating and implementing the organization’s administrative policies for Afiwi Groove School.
• Track and monitor student absences.
• E-mail/telephone correspondence with parents, schools and community organizations and answering basic inquiries (i.e. registrations, performances/bookings)

• Ensure digital and print materials are available for distribution.
• Generate contracts for printing and mailing
• managing correspondences and invoices through Quick Books
• Processing debit/credit card payments at the studio
• Upload receipts and expense into Quick Books or send to the accountant.
With direction and support from the Artistic Director and Program Coordinator
• Develop timelines to effectively deliver programs including travel and logistics
• With the Artistic Director draft calendar of events and performances as a template for the year
• Track and monitor student absences including the performance team and teachers
• Scheduling in school workshops and team performances.
• Coordinate and Order T shirts, merchandise and uniforms for students
• Order marketing materials
• Help plan and coordinate field trips and fundraising events
