Art mentor will facilitate small art projects for a group of adults with developmental disabilities. We will supply the materials and the volunteer will come up with base level art projects for adults. We're looking for someone for an hour/week with art experience.

We support adults with a developmental disabiities. We are looking for someone to be matched with a woman we support to accompany her out to commnity events and activities. Also, as a friendly visitor to her in her home. This woman is a wheel chair user who has complex needs and loves to get engaged socially. She has a zest for life and a great sense of humor. Travel will be facilitated by Durham Region Specialized Services.

Facilitate one hour/week of music for a small group of adults with developmental disabilities. Singing, playing instrument etc. an asset. This position ca be filled by an individual or small group.

Looking for volunteers to create and facilitate virtual games for our Zoom groups. One hour sessions can be weekly, biweekly or monthly. Games like, Matching, jeopardy, wheel of fortune and spot the difference can be shared with the group.

Looking for a volunteer to facilitate basic cooking skills for one hour a week. Morning start so that the group can eat what they've made for lunch. Teaching basic cutting, chopping, stirring, mixing and other skills to make basic meals. Priority is to give people a chance to experience helping out in the kitchen.
