The Brooklin Lacrosse Club is an adult men's lacrosse club that plays weekly games at Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, ON. We generate a good number of fans and strive to provide them with an enjoyable game night experience. We require a group of volunteers to assist with ticket taking, displaying and selling merchandise, providing fans with direction as needed and operating a frisbee toss game for our young fans during intermission. This year we are also seeking a Disc Jockey DJ position that can play music over the PA system before the game, during stoppages in play and during intermission. A laptop computer with pre-loaded music will be provided for this activity.

The RMG Learning and Engagement Department is currently looking for volunteers to assist with the delivery of a variety of educational programming, primarily Summer Camp! Assisting the Learning and Engagement Department is an excellent way to learn about a range of artistic techniques and practices, as well as gain valuable practical experience working with children of all ages. As a Camp Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, active, and positive camp environment. Volunteers can select from the following session options:

DESIGNERS & PUBLISHERS - The aesthetic of the blog is important for capturing readers’ attention. Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary is the only monkey sanctuary in Canada. We are verified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. Volunteer tasks include indoor and outdoor enclosure cleaning * preparing dinners, food enrichment and treats for the moneys * If skilled, carpentry projects, such as building monkey sleep boxes, creating structural enrichment and assisting with facilities maintenance * If you are unable to join us on-site, there are other volunteer opportunities to assist with fundraising, campaigns and outreach. During the morning shift, the meal is prepared for service later in the day.
