Duties

Assist with implementing lesson plans, and ensuring children participate in activities while making certain that the safety and well-being of all participants are considered.

  1. Assist Program Activity Leaders.
  2. Provide supervision and leadership to program participants in the Afterschool Program.
  3. Provide a safe, structured environment for the participants.
  4. Ensure that the Members’ Rules of Conduct are carried out in the program.
  5. Act as a role model for the participants conducting oneself in a respectful, cordial, mature, and responsible manner.
  6. Maintain an acceptable appearance in uniform and personal hygiene at all times.
  7. Responsible for helping to clean the program areas and other maintenance duties as needed.
  8. Act as a representative of BGC Durham and help promote the Club by example.
